A Perfect Purple Day

Whenever our parents come to stay with us, we cannot believe how fast the week seems to go by. This time was no different, we simply could not believe a whole week had passed and were going to be sad to see Nana and Papa go....but not before we had one more adventure together! There's just nothing like a tailgate and football game at JMU on a beautiful early fall day. Here we are getting the day started with a little help from the Colonel.


What can I say, the girl has got good taste in clothing.


As respectable a family of Duke Dogs as I've ever seen.


Smokey the Dog must have hitched a ride up with us from Tennessee to visit his neighbor to the north, Duke Dog.


Lily was so good being around Duke Dog! I guess we've talked about him enough that she feels comfortable around him....not only did she smile for this picture, but as we were leaving she tracked him down to give him a high-5!






The Marching Royal Dukes take the field and show off some of Lily's favorite shapes!
