Fun in the Fall

This Fall we've made an effort to go to Hendersonville as much as possible.  Apple Pickin' has become one of our family's favorite Fall activities.  This trip I had to work, while Gran and was able to join Dave and the girls for a beautiful day of apple pickin' fun. 

The girls enjoyed pumpkin painting this year - creativity unleashed - 

Lily wisely used the natural pumpkin color to her advantage.....Her idea for the "Power T"....her blood must run orange!  Go Vols!!

 Another of our Fall Favs is enjoying the short drive to Asheville.  The Biltmore is one of our go to spots for picnicking- hiking - and just running around.  This time Lily really wanted to tour through the house.  It turned out to be a great idea - as we usually are there when it's really crowded, but this day we strolled at our own pace and I think Lily was really able to appreciate it more than she has in times past.

Lils is also our budding photog and had fun taking pictures.  Poor CJ was a trooper despite suffering from some mysterious illness that took her spunk for several days.  Luckily she is fully mended now and back to being...well....just CJ.
