Week 27

Caroline is still working hard on talking without syllables.
We mainly speak in 'ppplllhhhh' these days...she loves for you to have
a conversation with her... it almost appears as though she expects it.

She's fulfilling her 6 month old developmental requirements well. Luckily
she hasn't shown stranger anxiety yet (Lily was about 1 month early on that
milestone..) but she definitely lets us know that she doesn't like it when we walk away from her. She also gets very excited when she sees one of us, oh how I love this age.

Week 26

So we are officially a week behind in posting.
This pic was taken relatively on time, sorry for the delay in actually getting it on the blog. Caroline is in full swing eating her cereal and I introduced sweet potatoes this week. It went over quite well, and it appears that Caroline, following in her sister's footsteps will too be a good eater. (Really didn't expect anything else coming from this stock!)

Cowboy Woody is also in the pic, because the Toy Story 3 figurines have been one of the biggest hits from the Christmas toys. Both Lily and Caroline love to play with them....it's so cute to listen to Lily say 'Well, Tarnation!' and 'Buzz Lightyear to the rescue!'...and Caroline has discovered that they are the perfect size for her little hands and mouth..

Week 25

Week 24

This week Caroline is posed with her favorite chew toys. Reaching, grabbing, and gnawing are her favorite activities these days. We try to keep most of the targets mouth appropriate, hence the chew toys. She is sitting up by herself (without the 'tripod stance') for longer and longer periods. She was doing well in this shot, but she definitely had a daddy spotter just out of frame :)
